PUBG Lite PC Will Be Released in October 2019 in 52 Countries


Tencent Games and PUBG Corp plan to increase the range of PUBG Lite PC releases. The game was originally only launched in Thailand, Hong Kong, Macau, Brazil, Turkey, and several other regions in Southeast Asia.

The latest news is that Tencent Games and PUBG Corp will launch PUBG Lite PC on October 10, 2019 in 52 countries. The game will be played for free in 52 countries from four regions, namely Europe, South Asia, Latin America and North Africa.

Not yet announced whether there will be a special release for other regions. Although PUBG Corp plans to expand its reach to many countries.

According to the latest press release, players who pre-register the PUBG Lite PC game will get free prizes in the form of Desert Camo skin for M416 weapons and Rockstar skin for AKM weapons. Pre-registration will be closed on October 8, 2019.

The PC specifications required are not too high. PUBG Lite requires a minimum Windows 7, 8, 10 or 64bit operating system, a 2.4 GHz i3 processor, 4 GB RAM, and Intel HD Graphics DirextX11. However, the 2.8 GHz i5 processor, 8 GB RAM and the NVIDIA Geforce GTX 660 DirextX11 or AMD Radeon HD 7870 GPU can also play PUBG Lite PCs.

"From the start, PUBG LITE has been designed to be a game version that can be accessed by gamers with computers and laptops with low specifications, while providing the same sophistication in action and experience playing original PUBG games," said Minkyu Park, Development Director of PUBG LITE at PUBG Corporation.
