WhatsApp Prepare Album and Group Sticker Features for Web version

After announcing the presence of Fingerprint Lock security features on Android, WhatsApp is now developing new features for WhatsApp Web.

Citing the WABetaInfo page, Monday (11/25/2019), two features that are likely to be on WhatsApp Web are Group Stickers and Albums.

WhatsApp is reportedly developing these two features, to ensure users have a pleasant experience before being released officially to the public.

Not yet known when the two newest features on WhatsApp Web will be released. However, here are a few information about Albums and Sticker Groups.

Album Feature

WhatsApp is developing a feature called Album for WhatsApp Web. Albums can group more items, for example photos and videos.

Currently, the Album feature has been on Android and iOS since last year. The WhatsApp team then began developing the Album feature for WhatsApp Web.

This feature functions exactly like the one on a smartphone. If many items are shared in a chat, WhatsApp Web will group them together.

Albums can be very useful because they can be forwarded or deleted entirely. That way, users do not need to manually select each photo that you want to delete. Unfortunately not yet known when this feature will be released.

Group Sticker Features

Another feature that is also being developed on WhatsApp Web is the Group Sticker which has a function similar to Album.

This feature automatically makes WhatsApp can group two strikers in one line. There is nothing special about the Sticker Group feature on WhatsApp Web. Functions are similar to those on smartphones.

So, when the user sends two stickers, this feature will group two stickers side by side. It can be seen that the grouped sticker feature is an extension of the Album feature.
