Sony Officially Announces PlayStation 5 at CES 2020, This Feature


At the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2020 event, Sony presented the latest products or technology to the public. Jim Ryan, President and CEO, Sony Interactive Entertainment revealed the emergence of a new generation of game consoles, PlayStation 5 (PS5).

"PlayStation 5, coming on vacation this year," Jim Ryan said in a video uploaded by The Verge on YouTube. He showed off the new PS5 logo that came with a typical PlayStation icon and a design that showed the PS5 with white text.

Jim mentioned some of the key features of the PS5. These key features include 3D audio sound, Haptics / Adaptive Triggers (new controller), Ultra-high speed SSD, Hardware-based ray tracing and Ultra HD Blu-ray.

As reported previously, the PS5 reportedly brought a new controller. This information came through a new patent filed by Sony Computer Entertainment in June.

It is said that there are buttons on the back. The appearance of these two additional buttons is called L4 and R4.

This button may be used for flexibility in a larger game, maybe as an additional trigger.
